A little over a month ago we published a post in which we promised that the expected launch of 13 Editora was already very close. Today we can say, finally, that the wait is over, and that the launch of this project has a specific date.
Next Thursday, December 10, at 8:00 p.m., the virtual launch of 13 Editora will take place simultaneously on our social networks, websites and YouTube channel. The strong restrictions due to COVID-19 will not allow (for now) to carry out the day of exposition and face-to-face debate that we had planned. But that will not prevent that, on Human Rights Day, we present to you this project with which we intend to contribute to the development of critical, independent and emancipatory thinking of citizenship.
During the last months, the word was the main tool we used to communicate the latest news from the editor, propose some of those readings that help to understand the world-system, celebrate relevant dates with you or review the biography of outstanding and worthy authors of recognition, both for their words and their actions. For this release, however, we are going to let another language, the audiovisual, take center stage, so that the images and sounds accompany the words.
